Contemporary garden wing deluxe rooms.

Can anyone tell me about the deluxe garden room at the Contemporary? Any pictures? What is the difference between them and the regular garden room (Standard/garden view)?

We really want to stay there and haven't yet....most of the time it has been GF, and once at WL, and now we are staying our first time at CBR! Trying to sort it out!?! LOL

The (full rack rate) prices during Value season, for example, are:

Standard View GW room = $280

Garden View GW room = $330

Deluxe GW room = $355

If you haven't already, you might want to take a look at the link I posted above to read more about the room and see the photos.

It looks like you'll be at the World VERY soon, so have a great vacation. You'll love the CR no matter what room you book!

Thanks, WDWKOOK! I will check it out! I leave tomorrow for the World and I am booking bounceback while I am there! So, I just want to make sure I am getting all the info on the resorts we are interested in staying at! I think CR this time wins! LOL Thanks again!

Well not sure about when you are going etc - but when I priced it at rack rate online for mid may - it was about $50 less than our garden view room at the poly, about $300 less than the garden view room in the garden wing at the CT and $800 less than the standard garden wing room.

online the CM told me that the sleeper couch could NOT use bed rails. Is this true? What about with the day bed can you not use bedrails with that either? DD#1 will be almost 3 and I know she won't sleep in a pack and play but for now she is still in her crib - so I know I will need the bed rails when we travel.

I'm so happy to see this thread. I had NO IDEA about these rooms. We're hoping to book a bounceback for the holidays in 2010 and this looks ideal.

The price difference is inconsequential compared to the regular Garden Wing Room. Looks awesome!

Thanks.

You're welcome. Sometimes CR info. actually gets out of the CR FAQ thread! Everyone on the CR thread is very helpful (and loves the CR) so don't hesitate to come on by:

Keep in mind that the Deluxe rooms are some of the hardest to get because there are only 3 of them now that the North GW has been replaced by BLT. You really have to book these early.

Good luck!

Hmmm... the CR's Garden Wing Deluxe room is actually the most expensive room in the Garden Wing, with the exception of the suites. In Value season, it's $25 more per night than the Garden View and $75 more per night than the Standard View. However, the Garden Wing rooms are the least expensive rooms of all three monorail resorts.

SORRY I was typing with my infant in my arms - I spoke incorrectly it is $300 MORE than the garden view and $800 MORE than the standard view.

No need to apologize - that kind of mistake can easily happen when you're multi-tasking like that.

However, for many they aren't doable since they can only accommodate a maximum of 3 people and they are available only with a king bed.

Good luck!
Thanks so much! As you can see from my ticker, I got a pin and was able to book the Deluxe Room for Christmas next year!!!! We are putting 4 in there - 2 on the bed and 2 on the sofabed. We weren't told that they couldn't accommodate us.
