CP alumni, I need help! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Okay, I'm going down in January for my CP, and my plan is that my dad is driving down with me, and flying back up. Is there a day or time or some way that I can insure that I can drop him off at the airport, or will our best bet be to get someone to pick him up?

It all depends on what day your dad is wanting to leave. Are you getting to FL early? Is he going to spend a week there? What are your plans that way?

I know the check in process has changed from when i did spring advantage 09... from my understanding, day 1 is pretty busy and you check in and get your classes/job location... but from what I hear, your day 2 you don't have anything to do, so that might be a good time to do it.

day 3 is traditions, so you'll have half the day free but you'll get your company ID that day and most people go play in the parks and see the fireworks that night so you might want to make yourself free if that's something you're interested in!

I'm arriving on the 11th, but I planned on coming down a few days early (depending on what we can afford). I had heard that the second day (after check-in), you had free, so I guess I wanted to double check on that.

If anyone else can confirm that one free day, I'd be really happy.

You should be fine to take him to the airport on Day 2 of Check-in =).
