And how many of you buy new jammies for the kiddies to open on Christmas Eve?

Another tradition of ours.. Couldn't be taking photos of the kiddies in the morning wearing old jammies.. LOL..

I have not done this - but I think it's a great idea. I think I may do it this Christmas, because one of the things on my list for the kids is pajamas.

I don't, but I just wanted to mention that Wal-mart has the CUTEST disney jammies right now. They even have tween/teen ones with full body (including footies). They are between $15-20 too so not bad.

You don't have to go exclusively with a "Christmas" design either (which wouldn't get much use).. Lots of snowmen, snowflakes, etc..

My kids are 22 and almost 19 and I still do this! My daughter loves it, my son tolerates it in the spirit of the season...

My parents always did this for me when I was a kid and I have definitely carried on the tradition. It just wouldn't seem like Christmas to me if they weren't wearing their new Christmas pajamas to bed.

We do! I also add a new book and slippers.

We always just got jammies when I was growing up.

We do this every year. Our tradition is to open our new pj's after dinner, then put them on to watch Polar Express before bedtime. (as a bonus for me, it makes it easier to get the kids ready for bed because they're excited to try on their new pyjamas)

I LOVE that part of Christmas eve - all sitting and having hot chocolate in our jammies and the kids LOVE it too can't tell ya much that meant to me when they all got mad over the jammies....

We started the PJ thing with our first child and many years later the tradition still continues.
The one year I did not do this for my adult children they had a fit. So children, grandchildren and great grandchild all get christmas PJ's.
