Health Food at Publix/Whole Foods? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Does anyone know if they have a decent selection of gluten-free, non-dairy, soy etc food at Publix ? And how much is cab fare from WDW (SSR) ?

I'm sure Whole Foods has more to choose. Does anyone know how much a cab ride from WDW (SSR) to Whole Foods is ?

I can tell you that the Winn Dixie just down the street from crossroads does have a health food section.

I went to the Publix in the Regency Village Shopping Center this summer. I was surprised at how much was available. There is definitely a decent selection of gluten free, soy and non dairy products. Last summer we ordered from WeGoShop/Whole Foods and Marge said that most of what we ordered was also available at Publix. Now if you need specific brands which we did, then Whole Foods is not far. I know some say Whole Foods is pricey but Whole Foods is where we shop at home. If you need specific items, sometimes price is not the issue.

Sorry to hijack, but can anyone give me directions to Wholefoods from OKW please?

We tried on several occasions to get there, but kept getting lost, so I would like to know for next time.

I would not recommend winn dixie for gluten free. They are really expensive by me.
I'd also suggest Chamberlins.
Publix, can be hit or miss depending on the location
Wholefoods
For directions: I4 to Sandlake road - take a left at the light take a left its in the plaza on left.
