Cinderella Room in the Castle

I may have missed this in earlier threads, but what are they doing with the Cinderella Room in the castle these days? Are people still winning contest to spend a night in there? Or can you even book it for a night?

I'm sure someone here has the answer.

It's used for corporate purposes.

Some can be for "Make a Wish" and similar.

Also sometimes offered as a Sweepstakes prize etc. It can not be booked by the general public nor are they giving it away nightly at this time

Staying in the castle for a night was-ALRIGHT.
But you really just wish that You could be back at your hotel.
The atmosphere is very-Closed in, (As you might say.)

Really - i agree! Seriously, this was your opinion of your own experience staying in the castle???? Wondering how the hotel could possibly feel less closed in than the castle suite and the magic of staying in such a special room that so few ever get to even see or sleep-in????

How did you get the opportunity and when? I have been wondering if any DIS folks have had the opportunity to do that and what they thought.

Love to hear more from anyone - even if you thought it was closed in I will try not to call you crazy .... tee hee hee

I was wondering if after the park closed you could leave your "room" and wander around MK...

or if you were actually in a gilded cage

From what I understand, there are no windows to see out of and once you were in the room, you had a guard standing at the door for exactly the reason above.

I was wondering what they are doing with the castle suite as well and the suite in DL.

From what I understand all the windows are stained glass and do not allow you to see out into the park. I believe you are not able to leave the room either. You have a butler that will get you whatever you need. This is probably for security but also to not "ruin" the magic by seeing people clean up and maintenace taking place

Would also like to know if this information is from personal experience???

I wouldn't care if it was "closed in" I would love to be closed in the castle - WOW how cool and magical.
