Question What kind of digital camera for a 16 year old "angel tree" child?

Anyone have some direction for me as I search for a nice (but not expensive) digital camera to give to an angel tree teen? There is not a price minimum/maximum, and I'd like to get something that will stand the test of time. Any ideas???

Thanks!
IVY

Kodak EasyShare...that's what I'd suggest. You can definitely find some that are reasonable.

I second the vote for the Kodak EasyShare.

If you can, please give rechargeable batteries (with a charger) and an extra memory card along with the camera, as it is unlikely that the child will be able to purchase more batteries, the way camera go through them.

CVS has a 9mp Kodak easyshare on Thursday for $60, I think, after extra bucks. That would be a nice camera for a child (or me, lol).
