AK to Pop to Contempory or Grand Floridian

Looking at booking 2 ADRs.
One will be on the 7th Jan 2010 for breakfast at either Chef Mickey or 1900 Park Fare.
The second will be on the 8th Jan after 10am at the non-7th Jan choice.

I'm staying at Pop and I have to get to the Animal Kingdom for a 5km fun run at around 7:50am I think. Assuming that takes an hour tops with various character meets or whatever, is there an easy and quick way back to Pop for a shower and to change clothes and then on to either the Contemporary or Grand Floridian?

Not entirely sure what buses go where. Know the monorail goes to the Contemporary from somewhere (transportation hub?)

That early you'd want to take a bus from pop to MK, if you are going to CR for check mickey's just walk to the CR, it's only 5-8 minutes. If you are doing the GF, still probably the best would be bus to MK then head over to the monorail station and ride it to GF, granted, that would be almost a full circle, but that would probably be the 'best' for that early.

The easiest would be a cab from pop to either one of your ADR's

for getting to the GF once you are at MK: you can also take the little boat (the resort launch) which will go directly from the MK to the GF (then on to POly and return to MK). I think it might be faster than the monorail.

The easiest option when going to the Contemporary, Polynesian and Grand Floridian is taking a taxi, assuming you don't have a car and don't mind paying for one. However you can always take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, then using the walkway or Resort Monorail to the Contemporary. When going to the Polynesian and Grand Floridian you can also take the Resort Monorail or the boat which goes to those resorts.
