Magical Moment I Want to Share! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hiya,
Just got back from our 3 day bounceback on the 11/19 Wonder and I wanted to share our Magical Moment with you. My little one Claire 4 has a very outgoing and loving personality and made friends with half of the ship. She made so many friends that people were coming up to us the whole cruise whom I had never met but they knew Claire lol! We ran into Ray whom was our cruise director for the second time and he got such a kick out of Claire he invited us to Studio Sea to meet the cast before the farewell party. The only bad thing is we couldn't find my oldest who was at her program somewhere on deck 10. Clarie got to interact and hug each character and each said that Claire made their cruise

Claire didn't know who to hug first lol! All I can say is Wow! and Thank You to Ray and the Cast for taking the time with my daughter and family!

My oldest was really upset she couldn't meet the characters. I really didn't know she would take it so hard(she's in that tween stage) so I called down to Guest Services and they sent a photo with all the characters signed and autographed.

They really are Wonderful!

The same thing happened to my 2 boys on the Magic, November 7. Sounds like my son's are a lot like your daughter and made many friends with the cast members and were invited to the party by Snow White.

It was amazing to see all the cast members call my boys by name throughout the cruise, then invite them to the party. They had a great time.

Wow, I love it when these magical moments happen especially when you don't expect it. Your DD must have loved all the attention.

On the Panama Canal Repo cruise in 2005, we got a call to our room asking if our DD could spare some time to go to Studio Sea at X time. We had no clue what was going on and were very surprised when the characters walked in one by one. She was so surprised and was speechless the entire time, LOL. It was a priceless moment that she still talks about. Like your DD, our's made friends with everyone on that cruise.

We made a list of all the characters in the pic and brought it on our next cruise with a photo mat, dropped it off at guest services and got the mat signed by each character in the pic with my DD. She has it hanging in her room, and it is beautiful. You might want to do this for this priceless memory too.
