This will be my first trip to Disney. WE are booked to stay at the all-star movies. I was wondering what time we can check into our room?

You can check in as soon as you arrive. If your room is not ready, the resort will keep your luggage and you can head to the parks. If the room is ready-that's a bonus. I think the actual time is 3 pm. We usually have arrived long before that and thankfully, our rooms have always been available but there's no guarentee. I think that now you can leave a cell phone number and they will phone/text you when the room is ready.

You can check in when you get there, though there is no guarantee a room is available. Sometimes you are lucky, sometimes you have to wait, but the concierge will hold your luggage until a room is available.

Drop your stuff off and head into the parks! Come back on a break and get your room.

During spring break we arrived at CSR around 9 a.m. and were floored that they had a room available! Get there and get in... worse they can say is no.

I agree w. PP, we have arrived at 10AM and got our room, other times had to wait until 3pm

You can check in as early as 6:30 am.

Not to dampen your hopes but, we once didn't get in our room until 6pm. That was at BWV, too.

Yes, I agree with everyone who said that you can check in whenever you arrive. Our last three trips, 2008 and 2009, we arrived at around noon and our room was ready for us. The last two trips (I don't think it was available in April 2008) I used online check in and stated our approximate arrival time, I don't know if that had anything to do with our having a room ready at our arrival or not.
