Paying for lockers at parks - The DIS Discussion Forums

I know that we will need lockers each day to bring a couple of jackets. I was wondering can you charge the lockers to your room on the room key? Do they take a charge card or do you need cash? Also how much are they? Thanks for all help. Also is the small size big enough for a couple of jackets?

Not sure about charging the lockers but they cost $10, $5 which you get back when you return the key. For larger lockers the cost is $14 (again $5 back when you return the key.
The small locker was big enough for me to put two medium size bags with jackets and snacks in.

When we were there in Feb. 09, some of the parks would take the KTTW card, but at least 1 (sorry, I can't remember which one) only took cash. Always good to carry $20 with you to the parks in any case. There have been a few times when the system has been down and the smaller vendors (such as the snack vendors) couldn't access the system.

Only MK had different sizes of lockers when we were there. The lockers are small but very deep, so we were able to fit a gym bag stuffed with clothes and snacks, an umbrella, an extra back pack and a few jackets in there.

I read recently on stitchkingdom.com that the prices went up on the lockers.

"As of Friday, November 20, locker prices at the theme parks will increase by $2 for both small lockers (new rate $7) and large lockers (new rate $9). The water parks will see a $3 increase to $8 and $10 respectively. The refundable deposit for the key will remain at $5."

Yes you can put the locker fee on your room key. I believe it was $7 a day but had to put down $10 with the deposit.
