Who has the Cinderella Castle Playset?

Is it worth the $$$? Will it fit the princesses that change their clothes (the little ones with the rubber like dresses)? I am thinking about buying it for my 4 year old.

if your taking about the one from WDW we have it... and I HATE it. WAY to many pieces to add on to make it look like the castle. I understand the bushes and the figures but stair cases and pillars? not kid friendly!

I don't personally have it, but a friend does and she doesn't like it either!

We have it and my 6 year old daughter loves it! She has no problem at all putting it together. Yes, the little Princesses will work with it.

Same here - my 5 year old twins play with this set all the time. We also have the Princesses you are asking about as well.

my 5 year old has it and loves it, if your child is into polly pockets, or playing with small figures and make believe, I think she would like it. We played it up to her that it was from the Magic Kingdom which makes it even more special to her. It's not what I would call 'high quality', but it's decent. She plays with it frequently. The boys are getting the monorail, contemporary, and space ship earth for Christmas so we can build our own WDW. I think it will be fun for us to all play with the sets together.

(I'm talking about the one from the MK, I'm thinking you may be referring to the new one I'm seeing in commercials, that looks cool too, of course DD wants that one too)

and, to answer your questions about the polly pocket sized princesses fitting in it, they will be a little out of scale, but she could still pretend and use them with it.

just look at the other one (have you seen it?) that is being shown in commercials that looks like it can be found at stores like Target, it is newer, maybe not 'Disney princess', I can't recall, but it would be worth checking out. The one from WDW comes in a really big box and makes for a fun present to open. If your daughter has been to the MK and has seen them in the stores, it makes it extra special. You may also consider waiting to buy it on your next trip for a souvenir if you have other ideas for her Christmas gifts.

Personally, I was a bit disappointed in it. I thought the quality wasn't great and the castle was too small. (We also have the Loving Family dollhouse- and there is really no comparison). However, although that is my opinion, DD plays with it all the time and loves the little people that came with it, so from that perspective, it was worth the money.

We bought it 2 years ago at MK and my girls ( ages 3and 5) still play with it all the time. They love it. There are a LOT of pieces (it should probably come with instructions- they are still finding new things about it.) I reccomend a shoe box to keep all of the parts in. It has held up well. I think it fits the clothes changes princesses for the most part.

My 3-1/2 year old daughter has it - her 1 souvenir from our trip in Sept. She absolutely loves it. I echo the previous comments that it has a lot of small pieces, and some instructions would have been nice, because there is some assembly required. Having said that, she will spend hours in her bedroom playing with it. When she went to bed last night, the princess were all standing by the turrets waiting for their respective princes to come. It is really wonderful for imaginative play. No regrets at all.
