Are there any news stories that mention DCL? I looked through all of the stories on Google but none mentioned the Magic...they just say there were six people in the other jeep.

From a passenger: We have just returned from a Disney Cruise. On our day in Cozumel, Nov 18th, five Disney employees, celebrating the end of their contracts from Animal Kingdom, rented a dune buggy or Jeep ( not part of a shore excursion) and were in an accident. Two were killed and three hospitalized. The 6th person in their party had decided to take a cruise endorsed shore excursion.

While we were on our day trip to Cozumel, Mexico we heard that 2 cast members were killed while vacationing on the Disney Magic cruise ship. The only details I heard was that they were "older folks on vacation with us and were involved in a fatal traffic accident." This would have happened on Wednesday Nov. 18th. Was wondering if anyone out there may have heard any more information about this? The ship's crew were very hush-hush about the whole thing and I could only get hear-say info from other cruise ship guests.

Hey All! We were on this cruise and were told only that people from our boat were involved in a head on crash of two jeeps with people from the Norwegian Dawn. Staff were very tight lipped about the whole situation and by disembarkation we knew there were two deaths. I have been looking on internet for more information and only since doing so have realized that obviously it was not the NCL Dawn and was the Carnival Legend. I guess my point is that it seems there is not alot of detailed information about the accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to the famlies and loved ones of those unfortunate people involved.

What a terrible tragedy. They are indeed being very closed lipped about it; usually the Orlando media is all over anything to do with Disney. My prayers are with the people involved and their families.

We were on the Magic and while we were on our balcony before dinner when docked in Cozumel and noticed some people were disembarking and they were obviously very upset. My mom and I wondered at the time what was wrong and I guess now we know. How sad.
