This ever happen to you... quick business meeting in Orlando shhhhhh!

So I was just asked two weeks ago if I could make a business meeting on 16th-17th somewhere on the East Coast (I live in Newp Beach, CA) and I said wow- how inconvenient right before the holidays- why don't we plan a strategy meeting first or second week in January- fresh minds- fresh ideas- inspired time of the year. The other people said yes it makes sense- (then someone said that they were going to have it in Orlando).
Something inside me immediately went to DW!! Does that ever go away?!

So I said, "You know what guys- on second thought- perhaps it does make sense going into the end of the year with a strategy in mind beginning the new year- we are still in the midst of our opportunities and challenges and I say LET'S DO IT!" Let's tackle the issues and forge ahead with the meeting...

Oh - and now I can hit DW SOLO for 6 days before- works for me (shhhhhh)
12/10- US- Emeril's- Blue Man
12/11- AK- MVMCP
12/12- Seaworld -Fulton's Crab house dinner
12/13- Epcot- (my son joining my from college break)- Bistro de Paris
12/14- DS- dinner at Yachtman's Steakhouse
12/15- AK & MK followed by Victoria Albert's
12/16- oh a meeting!

That sounds soooo fabulous. I don't know why none of our teacher workshops in NC are ever held in Orlando. Okay, I do. Congratulations! That's good thinking!

Lucky you!!!! I got a company paid vacation to DL/CA last summer! What, I need to go meet with a client in Irvine, CA? Yeah--I think we need to make that on a Monday. Well, I might as well fly out on Friday- what with the time change and all, I couldn't possibly fly out Monday morning!

6 days! How lucky for you. I had two meetings in Florida this year - one in Sarasota and one in Orlando - at a Downtown Disney Hotel. For both trips I managed to squeeze in a couple of days at WDW, and got as much out of them as I could! 6 days would be amazing!

Oh yes! The department I used to work with had an office in Orlando. I did it 2 or 3 times. I would schedule my meeting for Monday, go down Saturday or Sunday (pay for the hotel on my own for Sat & Sun). One time I just happened to notice that David Cassidy was playing at Epcot for F & W and it worked out perfect with my schedule. Another time I needed to be there Wednesday & Thursday, so I booked a night at WDW for Thursday night and spent Friday there (taking a vacation day). I tried to hit my favorites so I went to MK and saw Spectro & Wishes that night, hopped on the monorail to Epcot in time for Illuminations.
