Anniversary trip, no kids.....where to stay???

I received the 40% off code for all of next year and am planning an anniversary trip for DH and I. We would like to stay deluxe and am wondering where I should stay? We plan on spending a bunch of time at the resort relaxing and spending our nights at the parks. I was thinking of going deluxe dinning but then thought maybe CL?? HELP! I want to book this soon so I can stay where I would like. Thanks!!

Of all of the deluxes, I would recommend either the AKL (this is our dream resort), the Beach Club (one we want to try in the future) and the Poly which we've stayed numerous times and absolutely love the resort--and think it perfect for an anniversary.

What time of year? If it's in the fall, I would go with an Epcot resort to have close access to the Food & Wine Festival.

I recommend the BW, they have only a few garden suites. They are located in the garden courtyard, by the quite pool. You have a separate outside entrance, w. white picket fences surrounding it. They are 2 levels, 1st is a living room w. a 1/2 bath, refrig, micro, wetbar. 2nd is a king bed, full bath, jacuzzi. And it's CL.

Go to www.allears.net Accommodations, BW

Sorry, we are going in the beginning of December. Currently, we have booked the Contemporary theme park view with deluxe dining.

I would keep that reservation because the Contemporary Magic Kingdom View is amazing and it's something you won't regret.

We are celebrating our 13th right now at the Poly CL and it is unbelievable, the view of the castle all in lights is amazing!

Depending on what area you want to be in, for me it would narrow down to AKL, Poly, BW, or YC/BC.

I definitely second this! Those suites look amazing - two stories, a jacuzzi tub, and a separate garden entrance.

I switched our reservation around about 3 times for our anniversary stay in September. We ended up CL at Poly and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!!! We had deluxe dining at one point, but really wanted to try CL so bumped down to the regular dining plan and it was wonderful. The grounds at the Poly are so amazing. We had fun walking around in the evening taking in all the sights/sounds.

I'd pick one with a romantic beach like the Poly or GF.

We plan to do the Poly when we take our 'sans kids' trip. I hope to go for our 15th anniversary in 2 more years.

I would probably say either the Poly (have stayed there and its amazing) or Beach Club, YC, or BW. Simply for the easy access to the World Showcase. Being able to stroll back to your room so easily is nice. Of course, I am basing this on what I think I would be doing on a trip with dh and no kids, which is spending a lot of eveings at Epcot! We stayed at BW (in a villa) and loved it. Dh and I really hope to return there in future years during F & W or the holidays just us.

And all that said, to me, nothing says WDW like a MK view at the CR. I haven't stayed there, but I so want to someday for that view. But I have to say, I want to stay there with my kids more than just a couples trip since my kids are dying to stay there in a MK view. Seeing the castle would make me miss my kids. Again, just a quirky thing with me!

AKl is another one, but to me the dining options of an Epcot resort would again be my choice. Or the Poly with that beach, the huge rooms and the theming. Although if I didn't get a balcony room at the Poly, I'd be so upset!
