Trying to plan a trip on the Magic for Spring of 2011 - it's painful to come up with $1250 (party of 5) . . . what happened to the 1/2 deposits --- it sure became more affordable (at least in the very beginning stages) to set up a cruise for the future..... anybody have any inside info as to why that got rid of this great program (and perhaps when they would bring it back!)...

I loved that promotion too.

My guess is that people who pay low deposits are more likely to cancel than people who have more money committed.

Half off deposits still exsist when rebooking on the ship. Unfortunately that won't help you. Hopefully that promo comes back SOON!

I asked about the different promotions and if some or all are coming back or if there is going to be any news ones, and the answer I got was basically as one promo ends, they look and see what is happening in the world as far as the economy and bookings,and then make a decision. I fthe economy is still sagging and bookings along with it, theyll do something. Nothing is written in stone and is reviewed on a fairly regular basis.
