Have we seen ANY deals on Ipod Touch 32G? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Was all set to get the 8G, then read the thread on spending the extra $$$ to get the 32G, and it makes perfect sense. However, the only deal I've seen on the 32G Touch is at Target, and there's no Target store even close to me. Are there any other deals out there, Black Friday, before, after, doesn't really matter, at any other stores? Gift cards, etc? Online is good too!

I did see the refurb 2nd Gen at Apple and am considering that, any opinions on 2nd Gen vs 3rd Gen?

I just ordered a new 32 gig from Macmall for $278. It includes the engraving which usually you can't get except from Apple on new products/non refurb products. There are also a number of rebats you can choose from that gives you a few accessories for free. I am getting a charger and a leather case for free. It might be cheaper somewhere on Black Friday; but not anywhere I am going to venture to!

Best Buy has a coupon for 10% off that is good for the Ipod Touch. It came in the mail this past week. We ended up spending $269 for the 32gb Itouch.

With macmall or bestbuy, if you shop through upromise if you do that, you get 2% cash back.

**whining now** We don't have a Best Buy near us, is there an online code or where can I get the coupon? Our nearest BB is over an hour away.... Individually mailed - in this month's rewards members information. The 10% off coupon was not good online though. Wish it was because they had the 32gb online for $279....

I have to say that I ordered the 32g refurbed Ipod Touch and love it so far - I just got it Saturday and have downloaded lots of free books and a few movies, tons of apps and can hardly put it down. I've barely put a dent in the available space.

Is yours 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen? Apple says 3rd Gen is faster but how much faster is what I would like to know.
