Different year, Same Resort, Same Room: What were the chances?

DH and I just spent a night at Beach Club. Did the same probably just over a year ago.
We got the same room! (And not by request.)
How odd was that?
This second stay I did ask for a ground floor room. Never imagined we would get the same room as last time.
Which we loved.
And second, the room was remodeled since our last stay.
The walls were the same (paper and paint). The same bathroom cabinet area. (Which may have been resurfaced. Don't recall.) Bedside desk with pull out top was the same. Oh -- and the same hallway noise.
Everything else was new.
Hall carpet was replaced too. At least neither of us recalled the Ariel themed carpet with Sebastian.

Wow, thats interesting! We've never had the same exact room, but we've had the same room on different floors at BWV, had the 2nd, 4th, and 5th floor three trips in a row. We thought we'd never get another location. The next trip after that, we were on the 3rd floor, one room over.

That's pretty cool! I've never had a repeat room - but it would be neat if we could!

I've never had a repeat room, although my last stay at BWV was 2 floors above another room I had.

One time I had a business trip to St Paul MN. I stayed at a Crown Plaza. I was there for a week, came home for a week, then went back for another week. Got the same corner room!

We had the same room at WL - 6020 - three times! The second time was a request, but the third time I just asked for something in that wing and we still got it. It did feel like coming home!

It happened to me at the BCV and believe me I didn't request it since I hated the view the first time.I got stuck in villa 303 again. It was a 1 bdr that faces the driveway of the BC resort which is quite loud when the busses drop off.I am so hoping I do not get it again when I go in 18 days!

Wow, that is amazing.

Two years in a row we got the same table at CM for our anniversary breakfast on our last day.

I have been given the same studio villa at BWV twice now...and it is one of my favorite locations to boot.....about 2 doors down from the elevators, overlooking the Village Green.

wonder if this would be one of the 'less desired/requested' rooms (due to what you mention - noise and fact that it needed a rehab) and you wound up with it by default
