Jedi Training
I read recently that they no longer pick kids from the crowd for Jedi Training but rather they make the kids line up in a queue line and then take about 12 kids, and then the next kids in line can be in the next show, etc, etc. Does anyone know if this was a trial and whether or not they are still selecting the kids this way? I want to prep my sons in advance for this.
Personally, I think this is a good idea and it's a bit more fair if you are willing to wait in line for it. I think my kids could handle choosing to not get in line and just enjoy the show much better than being passed over by the jedi master. Can anyone who has been there recently confirm this? |

Its my understanding that it has changed. They now select kids once the previous show is over

How do they select them for the very first showing?

I would like to know this too. When we were there in Oct. of 2008 we had planned a short morning at DHS because we were going to MNSSHP that night. When we were getting ready to leave in the early afternoon around 1 my twins wanted to do the jedi training. We ended up sitting through 3 shows until they were finally chosen
! But it was worth the wait to see the look no my boys faces. They changed jedi masters from the 1st to 2nd show otherwise I think he might have picked them for the 2nd show. Anyway, I think the new way sound would help us make better use of our time. We ended up not leaving the park until 4:30 which was about 3 hours later than we planned. But it all ended up working out.

We were there October 18th and my kids were diappointed that they didn't get picked. They soon got over it and enjoyed the show but it would be nice to be able to get in line to be in the show.
