I assume park maps are readily available once we get there? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Or should I plan to bring the ones I ordered online? Will there be maps included in our "welcome package" or in our rooms? I'll bring the ones from home if not - I don't want to have to search around for them once we arrive.

They are EVERYWHERE. At the check in desk at your resort, right when you walk into the parks, at check out areas of food carts, CS places and in the stores. Never fear, you can hardly walk 20 feet without finding a map

There will be park maps at the enterances of all the parks and at guest relations. You may also find them at the registers at some stores. They are pretty much everywhere you turn at the parks. They will also be available at your Disney resort at the Guest Relations and Conceirge desk. You should also recieve maps with your Welcome Package at check-in. However, if you ordered a special customized map online, I would also bring that as well. Either way, you will not be hard pressed to find a map. Enjoy your trip!

As PP said they are everywhere. Those special maps we got in mail, we kept and did not take with us, they are too cute and we are saving them as a memory.

Those customized maps are too special and beautiful so I like to use them for my scrapbooking after my trip

The park maps are available in every park, at the resorts, stores, City Hall in Magic Kingdom and just about every place you could imagine

They are also great to put into memory books especially now that FantasyLand will be changing!

There is also a sheet called the Times Guide and New Information.It is "usually" found close to the Park maps.
