Two TS in one day...how far to spread out?

I have a couple of days where I have two TS in one day (one I am considering changing) and I would like some feedback on whether these times are too close together.

The first one is CP at 10:25 for breakfast and a 5:00 WCC for dinner. This is the one I am considering moving. I have a CP the day before for lunch that I think I may keep instead, although I'm dying to try the breakfast at CP, so I'm still waivering.

The other one is Akershus at 8:10 for breakfast and Tutto Italia at 1:20 for a late lunch. I wanted dinner for Tutto, but can't get it right now.

Are we going to be too stuffed to enjoy the 2nd ts on these days? We have two DD's, 3 and 6, if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

I think those times should be fine. The day with Akershus and Tutto Italia might be a bit close....but hey, maybe it will keep the bill down!

We did 2 TS's in one day on our last trip because of having to double up do to an ER visit on one of the days of a TS.

As long as you do a breakfast/dinner scenario or a late breakfast/early lunch -late dinner scenario.

I think you'll be really really stuffed the second day and may not be able to truly enjoy the 2nd TS.

Your first day will be fine.

Yeah, I am thinking the CP/WCC combo is fine. Especially if you'll be walking and doing all day in between. The Akershus/Tutto combo might be a bit much. I wouldn't do it and we are big eaters but if I were with others and HAD to do it, I would just eat according at the first meal...not filling up too much. The food at Tutto sounds very filling and you might not be able to enjoy it much. It really depends on your eating style and are you on the DDP?? Also, knowing that you have these ADR's, you would eat according...at least I would. And you know little kids, they need to eat all the time!!!! If these are TS that you MUST DO, go for it and HAVE FUN!!!

We are trying 2 TS meals each day for our upcoming trip. I've been reading more and more about how long the CS lines are during xmas week and decided to bite the bullet and upgrade from the basic DDP to the Deluxe. Each day I scheduled a brunch (ADRs between 10:30 and 11:00am) and Dinner (ADRs between 5 and 6pm). I know we will be fine with this and not overstuffed.

Thanks everyone! I am going to cancel the Tutto Italia one and keep trying for dinner instead.

It's good to know that if I do keep the CP late breakfast that it wont' be too close to WCC at 5:00. My only concern is gettng seated late for the breakfast. We'll see.

Again, I do have a lunch ADR at CP the day before that I am considering keeping and cancelling this breakfast, just so our ts are spread out some. I'll post in the dec cancellation thread today or tomorrow in case anyone is interested!

I think you're fine on the CP/WCC day.

My thoughts on the Akershus/Tutto day - Let's face it, there is nothing special about the food at the Princess breakfast. It's something you can get at home. It's the experience for your kiddos that you are going for. They will probably be so excited they aren't going to eat much anyway and will be starved by lunchtime. I think if you just have a small amount of the eggs, bacon, etc you will be fine for the late lunch.

That's a good point, too. Maybe I'll hold off a bit before I cancel it.

I think your CP/WCC day is just fine, not sure of your Akershus and Tutto, that maybe a little close. For our upcoming Disney trip we have quite a few days were we have 2 TS meals. We usually spread out our ADRs by doing a breakfast and then a dinner, there is one day that we have Le Cellier for lunch at 11:30am and then dinner at Teppan Edo at 6:30pm. We have never done this many TS meals before in a trip, but for some reason DH has been in the mood to do more TS than CS (of course we plan on doing CS meals too). Good luck and have a magical trip.

I think it really depends on how you'll eat at the buffets. We have Akershus and CP as well, but I know those will be light meals for us. We're there for the characters, not the food, and particularly at Akershus where the menu is just "eh", we'll leave satisifed but not full/stuffed. If that's how you approach those breakfasts, your spacing is probably fine on both days, but if you expect you'll be eating large, heavy breakfasts, I think you'll really wish Tutto was later. That's a very good but very filling meal, and not something I'd want to go into only semi-hungry!

We're doing deluxe the week after Christmas and have 2 TS each day plus one day with 3. I have basically 6 hours between the meals (lunch and dinner) each day and on the day with 3 we're doing an 8am Character breakfast before park opening, 2pm lunch and 8 pm dinner so 6 hours that day too .

My biggest concern that week is that I have dinner in the parks a few nights and I am worried if we leave we may not be able to get back in....

I'd spread them out as far as possible. The food is filling.

We've done 3 TS in a single day - breakfast, lunch, dinner - and been fine. But we didn't gorge ourselves, either. Portions are way too big so we start with eating half of what they bring out and go from there. And that would include app, entree, and dessert as we were on the Deluxe plan. If you eat only a true recommended serving size it is not bad at all. I imagine most people who complain try to eat everything on the plate, and that is just too much food.

I was thinking the same thing. I would eat lighter in the morning you have the lunch ADR so you could enjoy that meal too.
