The "Celebrate" Bus - The DIS Discussion Forums

Has anyone been on this bus? I just missed it on Friday at SSR. I've never heard of it. The CM at the bus stop asked me if I was going to DHS and I said no, DTD. I was by myself and he thought I was waiting for someone (I wasn't). So as the bus pulled away, he was telling me it's a completely random bus going to wherever filled with balloons. Not sure what goes on but had I known this I would have hopped on because I could have changed my plans. Anyone know about this?

Hmmmm.....

Don't all the Disney buses have the graphics on the windows to make it look like they are filled with balloons?

Would be cool if there was a random 'celebration' bus....if there is I am sure a dis'r will spot it now that the know to be on the lookout....

The CM said the bus is so filled with balloons you can't see the ceiling and there were a group of CM's clapping and cheering for the people getting on the bus. I arrived at the end just before the last of them got on. I thought it was a special celebration bus for a certain group or something. It said "Celebrate" on the bus marquee. I wish I would have gotten there 5 minutes earlier.

Wow...now that is the Disney magic I remember from years ago....even the bus rides were fun. I am sorry that you just missed it. Hopefully another dis'r will catch one and report back.

I remember when some of the bus drivers used to sing as they were driving. The buses had as much of a party atmosphere as the street parades...It wasn't every bus but we used to get them fairly regularly....
