I have been watching QVC for many years, but somehow missed something recently. Does anyone know what happened to Bob Bowersox that did the "In the kitchen with Bob" on Sundays at noon? I turned on the set one day and there was David Venable doing the show and it is now called "In the kitchen with David". Don't get me wrong, I love David, but just wondered about Bob.

Yep he left about 8 months ago. Left or was forced out I don't know. The rumor online was that he was fired.
And yes I buy QVC stuff. More this year than in the past because it's been easier for me than going to the store(health stuff) I'm grateful that I have that as an option besides just online shopping.

Bob disappeared about a year ago. There was a short video of him saying good bye and that was the end of it. No explanation given that I know of.

Her name escapes me, but she has been on a few years....longish hair???

I like QVC, been watching and ordering for many many years..literally when they used to "blow the little horn" when they started ions ago.....

I'm a longtime fan of QVC but now I'm not working outside the home, I have cut down on my viewing. Too expensive...

I noticed Bob was gone too & figured he retired. I'm sad to note here on the disboards that there's the possibility he was fired. Big Mistake IMO. I like David too but prefer Bob in the kitchen. If Patti happens to be showing items I like, I admit I turn the sound off; don't care for her voice. I'm very surprised the powers that be at QVC hired her. I think her voice is, well, annoying, sort of grating like nails on a chalkboard or something.

I wish wish wish that silly Jeanne Bice from Quacker Factory would quit it with the silly headbands! I turn her off now too. Does she EVER SHUT UP??? Same for Joan Rivers--does she EVER SHUT UP??? Won't watch her either.

I finally discovered where Judy Crowell disappeared to--HSN! Big surprise & I miss watching her. IMO she had class!

Yes the blonde. And I have to say she is a touch annoying on HSN vs. when she was on Qvc.

Affair with Patti?? Now that would be interesting I guess. She lost a ton of weight. hmmmm. But I agree can not really watch her. The only one that I like to watch is Jill. She seems just like a regular person. Who happens to sell me junk on tv.

Judy left HSN, her husband Paul Deasy has also left. I think their contracts expired. Unless she has come back recently.

I would think Bob had been there the longest and was the best host of the two. Wow, I feel really old. I remember when Judy was on QVC and was married for a very brief time to one of the other host named Jeff. They got engaged on the air and I later read that he was a real jerk and mistreated her so it did not last long. Wasn't Paul Deasy also on QVC at one time? If so, it looks like Judy found both husbands at work.

I agree with the Quacker factory lady. What is up with that headband ???!!! and thank goodness I am not into the jewelry shows so I don't have to watch Joan.

Also, is Lisa Mason still around?

Yes, Paul Deasy worked at QVC, he left before her. She kept their marriage a secret for a long time, I guess after the disaster the last time with Jeff when everything was public. Then Paul went to HSN in FL, Judy followed. Most of them have a non-compete clause in their contracts so if they want to switch networks they have to wait a year in between. So I guess the year is up and they are now on ShopNBC.

I think I saw Lisa Mason not too long ago. I don't watch it much anymore.
