Current offerings of pooh sizes on board the Wonder report

Just wanted to let people that need to know know that we had been hoping for a few more choices in pooh sized clothing on board but sadly, the largest we saw on the ship was 2X (and they aren't exactly roomy) in the items I looked at and I was looking at more than I was interested in just to see to give a report. On CC there were a few more items in 3X but that was a big as I saw. I never asked workers though. And I was in the shops from day one twice a day at least. sigh Oh well, I saved myself some $.

Also didn't see much in the way of toys for under 3 children nor clothes under 2T. Some, but very very little. We had been banking on getting some stuff at WDW or onboard for our toddler so we didn't bring more than a few things. EEEK. That wasn't fun. Yes, I do realize we're talking about a limited space ship. I'm just giving an observance.

I've ALWAYS wished they had larger sizes, but they don't, even at World of Disney. It does make it tough for us "Pooh size" people.

AND....I was also looking for smaller outfits for my grandson on my last cruise, and again, was really disappointed.
I don't think it would help to send a letter.

Granted the selection is limited, but I've seen 3X and even 4X on the ship. If you don't see what you want, ask the CMs. They can always check what's in the stock room.

Another point, if you don't ask or say something on the comment card, they won't know that people want more of a certain selection or size.

Actually, I did. I forgot to leave it with them though. I walked off the gangplank holding it in my hands. It's on my steps and I'm going to mail it in. There may have been 3 and 4 x on the ship but not in anything I looked at or not when I looked. I had just heard so many people say there were those sizes available that I had my hopes up. Believe me, I was looking. I have to say though, it is very embarassing to be my size (for ME anyway) so asking anyone to look for a larger size is, well, not high on my priority list. SO if that mean I was skunked...so be it. Sometimes it's hard to leave the house let along ask for clothes. I got a cute "Smile Mon" tie-dye shirt on CC though.

Any of the 2X and 3X that I've seen are all the "generic" plain, "men's-looking" t-shirts. They've never had the cute women's things in the larger sizes.
But then, not even the plus-size sections at the mall have the same cute clothes that they sell in the smaller sizes. I've never figured that one out. Why can't they just make the same cute stuff, only bigger?? Why do a lot of the plus size tops and dresses have to be so garish?

As far as DCL and WDW go, the old supply and demand rule is in place. Either there is a larger demand for those sizes and styles than there is supply, or based on their experiences, the demand is not high enough to justify the supply.

Same here on our cruise. 2x in the shops, and 3x on cc. If you are at the parks before hand and have a car, we regularly find 4x and 5x disney world (not generic florida or disney) shirts, sweats, and the like in the disney outlet store (character premiere), in the orlando premium outlets. It's just on the other side of I-4 close to downtown disney.
