Simple Kid-Friendly Appetizer Needed

I need to bring an appetizer to Thanksgiving dinner. Since there will be lots of teenage boys and kids, I'd like it to be kid friendly. Also I'd prefer to bring something I don't need to heat up or bake on site since oven space is limited. Any ideas?

In advance, thanks so much for your help. I can always count on my DIS friends to help me out

Layered Mexican dip?

When I make it I use refried beans mixed with taco seasoning, then sour cream, guacamole, and salsa, topped with cheese, tomatoes, scallions, and olives.

Sausge cheese balls ... after you bake them you can throw them in the crockpot to keep warm.

Mini sausages in the crock pot.

Dip.

Cheese and Crackers.

Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

finger jello is always my #1 go to. Everyone seems to like it and I don't have to bring a ton home. Choc and sprinkle dipped pretzel rods is another one I do. Deviled eggs are a big hit with my kids too.

Do you have a crockpot that you could transport? I love those meatballs with the chili sauce and cranberry sauce. Obnoxiously simple and really, really good.

Okay, while that sounds quite good and all... what I really want to tell you is that I LOVE your "binary" signature line. Awesome

Sausage balls. You don't have to keep them warm if you don't want and they taste just as good.

I was going to say pigs in blankets if you have a crockpot to keep them warm. I've never seen a kid yet that doesn't scarf them up!

PB&J dip. Very simple but the kids love it.

Use a shallow dish or deep plate. Spread PB on it, then squirt squeezable jelly on it. Garnish with peanuts around the rim. Serve with cracker sticks.

I know it is not gourmet, but the kids will eat it.

I made this fruit salsa and cinnamon chips once and it was gone in about 2 minutes. I didn't even get to try it.

Yeah, yum to both! LOL. I love those stinkin' things... either in crescent rolls or in the sauce. Now I'm HUNGRY!

Boy does that bring back memories! Sausage (and cheese) balls. They were a huge hit.
