For those buying I-Touches...
Which GB are you buying? Our daughter will be turning 13 :::thud::: and she would really like one. I just am unsure if we should get her the 8, 32 or 64. Of course, the 8 is the budget friendliest. But, if we have to replace it with a higher GB in a year...it's no bargain!

I definitely wouldn't bother with an 8G iPod Touch (guys, it's not an "iTouch", LOL!). Either the 16G or 32 is a better investment, especially for a teenager. I have the 32G and I think if I was going to buy one for my teenager, I'd go that route, because he'd likely fill it up faster than I could.
Any way you go, I'm sure your dd will be thrilled. My Touch is my favorite "toy"!

When I drink I find its easier to watch my children because I see all 3 of them double, so all 6 of them of them take all my attention

I got my dd an 8GB because I got a great deal on it and she already has an 8GB nano that she is constantly taking things off and putting things on so she knows how to manage her storage. She is also 11 and I am not comfortable spending $300 on a device that I know she will have with her constantly

Thanks so far guys!! We are looking at them, and the 32GB is about $300...we could get her a netbook for that. Hmmm....decisions, decisions!!
