Room suggestion for GCH - The DIS Discussion Forums

Any good room suggestions for the GCH? We had a great room at WDW Polynesian last year that was the price of a standard room, but also had a view of the castle. Is there a better side of the building to stay on, etc.
I've heard some people say that the quietest and closest to the lobby is to have a "courtyard" view. Does anyone have a specific room number they stayed in that worked well for them.

I think what will be considered a fantastic room will vary by person...But, the first time we stayed at GCH we got the room directly above the CA entrance. We had a fantastic view of Grizzly and could hear the water. It was priced as a regular room since it was lower, but we really liked the fact that the trees were part of the view. Wish I could remmeber the room number...

Plaza DD11 Bday...we're done for a couple years!...okay, maybe not. 10/09 with annual passes again, so a few more on the horizon. Me , DH , DD12 , and DD10
