Help deciding week for next year! - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi guys! Just got back from the World last week! I am all ready to book again for next year. We want to stay with going in Nov-Dec. What would be the ideal time to go crowd wise? I am looking at the week after thanksgiving. Is there a better time in December to go? We are flexible!

its a great time to go! we go every year at this time! its nice, the holiday decorations go up and the crowds are small as thanksgiving is over. it truly is a great time.

We're going the 2nd week of Dec this year! Everything I've read sounds great!

Something to think about if you're looking at the 1st or 2nd week of Dec - where do you want to stay? The Pop Warner football championships are at the ESPN Sports Complex the 2nd week and they stay at the Value's and one Moderate (Used to be CS, but this year its POFQ). They play all day so they don't impact the parks during the day, but the hotels they stay at will be crowded (bus stops, food courts, etc).

Just food for thought. We're staying at the Cabins this year.

If I had any idea how to link you to another thread, I would, but there is a thread just above this one touting the joys of no lines this past week. Decorations are up, and crowds are low...I'd try for the second or third week of November. Just be sure you are out by Thanksgiving week! I am hoping for low crowds the last week of January!
