OH NO!! Waited to buy Hollister coat and now it's not on sale! :(
My daughters 16th birthday is 12/15 and she wanted and needed a new winter coat. She loves one at Hollister so I figured since it was her 16th we would splurge and make the purchase. The coat was regularly $140 and on sale for $98.
I go on today to make the purchase....and it's no longer on sale. I'm crushed. I waited until payday. I feel so badly. The coat was going to be her only gift. She loved it!! Does anyone know if they will run this sale again? Thanks.

All you can do is decide what to do if it never goes on sale by a certain date (to get it by her birthday with time to spare). Do you pay full price, do you get her something else, do you give her $100 and tell her you she can buy it now with her other birthday money or something else.

My suggestion would be to ask at the store. You'd be amazed at the number of stores that are willing to tell you if or when an item will go on sale.

ALL stores, more than ever now, WANT your $$, you can even call and if they say they don't know....go in....ask for a manager and tell them that you're on a tight budget with a kid that REALLY wants it! Good Luck!!

Honestly? I'd just buy the coat anyway. If $42 is going to seriously hurt you financially, I'll bet you can find somewhere else to cut back in order to get your daughter the coat. If you wait again, it may be gone.

Find out if Hollister does price adjustments. If they do, you could buy it now, and then have the price adjusted if it goes on sale. Then you get the difference back... and if not, well your DD gets the coat she wanted and she'll probably be a very happy girl, and it'll be worth it when you see how excited she gets when she opens it on her big day.
