Need help-Quarter question - The DIS Discussion Forums

hope someone can shed some light. I know about the pre 1982 pennies thing for the pressed pennies but was wondering about quarters. Are there certain ones that do better? Certain dates, do the state quarters do ok? How do you clean quarters and make shiny again? Leaving in next 5 days so I need to get it together

The metal composition of quarters has not changed since 1965, when they removed the silver content from the quarters. Doubt you'd want to be squishing any silver quarters, since the silver content alone is worth $3.35.

Cannot comment on whether any of the state quarter designs squish better, but I doubt it...
