I LOVE Amazon!!

I ordered a flat iron that was by far cheaper through them that I found anywhere else. Also, even though there were several sellers I chose the one that was Amazon since it had free shipping. I could have upgraded to the more expensive faster delivery but I am cheap and chose the free one.
I ordered on Thursday and guess what just got delivered??? My flat iron. Less than 48 hors after I ordered.
Recap- cheaper, no sales tax, free shipping and got in 2 days
I LOVE Amazon!!!!

Interesting observation is that it was delivered by a van labeled "Messenger Service" and not UPS. I wonder how their delivery network works but it is great!

Two years ago I ordered an item from Amazon. I ordered in about 7 am on a weekday. DH brought in the package that night when he came home from work. I would not believe I got the item in less than 12 hours.

My hubby did this for a job many years back. UPS etc. hire a lot of temps during the holiday seasons and don't have enough vehicles for all the packages. We used our own vehicle (truck) and were reimbursed for gas and mileage in his paycheck. He dressed like the UPS guy but didn't drive the big brown truck.
