Anyone buy things online that are Black Friday items?

I was reading on another thread that you can buy the BF deals online at Walmart, starting at EST... So if the stores open at 5am, and it's EST can I go buy BF deals at 2am PST (we are 3 hours behind EST)?

What have your experiences been like?

What other stores do this? This is all new to me, but if I am able to shop BF without leaving my warm and cozy house in my pajamas, I am all for it!

Alot of times the "early birds" on BF are excluded from online purchases. You won't know until it's too late. Lots of the BF items will be available online and the times are always a mystery for each store. I've generally found the items on the first page are generally not available online. I would certainly try to put them in your cart and a word of warning, there is no time to "shop" when buying online. You need to put it in your cart and checkout, because I know all too well if your item is in your cart too long it will disappear during checkout! So yes, to BF items and most likely no to "door busters" and "early birds". I'm not saying it can't be done, but I've been doing BF online for 3 years now and have never been able to buy either of these things. I've been successful getting lots of BF ads items, just not the really hot ticket items.

I am specifically looking at the DS that Wal Mart has on sale but there is no way I am going shopping at that store...

I would rather pay full price than go wait in line for 5+ hours in hopes of saving $30.

Are there any other stores that are likely to let you shop online?

I would suggest checking the website right after midnight. I scored BIG on year on various sites doing that.
