Hi, I am staying at the Hilton next to Downtown Disney in April, I am looking for somebody who has experience using the transportation there. It seems leaving the resort I am best using their Shuttle. My question is returning does it make more sense to take a bus to Downtown Disney and walk over to the Hilton as oppossed to taking the Hilton Shuttle back?

Second question does the Hilton bus drop you at the Magic Kingdom or do you have to go through the TTC?

We stayed for the first time at the Hilton last month.

As far as whether you should take the DTD buses or not, it really depends. First of all, you can't take a bus from a park to/from DTD. Disney does this to keep people from parking for free at DTD and then busing over to the parks.

We used the Hilton shuttle to get to Epcot. It dropped us off right across from the bus stop for POP guests. For the price you pay at the Hilton and the quality of the hotel, I thought the shuttles were great! The MK bus goes to the TTC, however, and that was a bit of a pain IMO.

But, we had ADRs at Boma one night for example, and used the DTD/AKL bus. Another night we left Epcot via the IG and took the bus back to DTD from BW after walking around there.

It's really an easy walk to DTD - the Hilton is basically kitty-corner from Once Upon a Toy.
