Size of Fish for FE - The DIS Discussion Forums

Trying to finish up my FE - can anyone give me the rough dimensions of the fish - I want to make sure the loop is big enough to go over the fish before sewing it on.

I'm not totally sure. Somewhere around 8 inches in diameter? I would recommend though maybe making two straps that come off of the top of your FE so you can tie it on there w/o issue and make it as high or low as you want.

OR just make the loop extra big and you can always tie off some of it.

Best thing is to get the strip ties from a hardware store and use them... make sure you get long ones - you can trim them and then you just have to cut the FE from around the fish...that keeps them safe...
