fun restaurants must eat...... recommendations pls!

We will be enjoying the PBH and parks December 25 through the 30th and plan on doing maybe? five restaurant/cocktail party nights depending on when we can pull ourselves away from the parks before we pour exhausted souls into bed.

We are looking for atmosphere vs food - obviously edible (DH is a Chef). We are coming from WDW where we are doing some signature restaurants and that part of our vacation is more food focused - this part is FUN!!.

We are staying CL and last time did most happy hours at HRH enjoying both food and , anticipating same thing at PBH so would be a late ressie.

Currently looking at Mythos (looking at dinner but what about lunch?), Bubba Gumps, Margaritaville, Mama Dellas.... open to ANY suggestions, not only for dinner but after...

Last time we stayed at HRH and every night but one DH and DS went to HHN and left DD and I behind (she was too young) so we really haven't done anything at night as a couple or family so I'm looking to the pros for your suggesions!!

As always, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy lives to help the folks who need it the most

I have never been to Mythos but I love Bubba Gumps, Margaritaville, and Mama Della's. We just went to those 3 restaurants last summer. Bubba Gumps is casual, crowded, noisey and the food is good. Margaritaville has more of an open feeling and has music, a video screen and good food as well. Mamma Della's is a quieter restaurant-- except when then the Italian singer goes around singing to each table! Mamma Della's make you feel like you are home and "Mamma" comes out at the end of the meal to make sure everyone enjoyed their meal. The food was delicious! I would recommend all of these choices. I do want to try Mythos on our next trip-- it closed early on the days we were there. Have a great trip!
I don't really know about the night life-- my husband and I were with the kids!

thanks so much for the feedback , which I really appreciate

So Mamma Dellas.... atmosphere wise... is it your typical holllyday eyetalian?

We love real Italian food - kids are a bit of a snob (yeah, that's my excuse for asking )

Just good lookin' and tastin' pizza and pasta....

I think one of our top meals was lunch at Mythos! The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great! One of the top waiters we had during our trip as well. Very nice place.

DH loved Bubba Gump, I didn't but I don't like seafood. The burger was awful. Well, not awful but very bland and boring. The burger at Hard Rock was great. The atmosphere at Bubba Gump was very casual in my opinion.

i always go to Mythos on my trips!

Check the hours of Mythos in advance or when you check in to your hotel.
you can have concierge book your party.

During normal park hours, they close in the late afternoon.

There have been times they have stayed open to 7 pm due to the holiday time periods.

If you enjoy Latin food you may want to check out the Latin Quarter. We had a great meal there and the Mojitos were terriffic. They also had a nice atmosphere complete with a guitar player and a dancer.

I'd like to second Mythos. We've eaten there two years running, both lunches, food service and atmosphere first rate.

Enjoy.
