getting the WDW fix tomorrow with Mickey Mouse in Chicago

Chicago has a MAGNIFICENT LIGHTS FESTIVAL PARADE every year the weekend before Thanksgiving. MICKEY himself comes all the way from Orlando, taking time out from his already busy, frazzled scheldule to help light up Michigan Av to kick off the Chistmas ( dare I say) Season. This is as close as I can come to the MOUSE in person and a parade to boot!! AND there's the DISNEY STORE to indulge in, too. It's going to be a wonderful day!!!

Have fun! The parade is relatively short but they also do a Disney "show" in Pioneer Court. Here's the details of what else is going on tomorrow (in case you don't know there's more than just the parade. At least the weather will be great tomorrow. Went to the fist one of these about 15 or so years ago and it was FREEZING!!!!!! Have a great time!

I've always wanted to go down there for this...and to think that the weather will be warm tomorrow!

Oh, as a heads up (not sure if this is still true) but when I was at the Disney Store mid-September, they had a bunch of their princess dresses normally marked 90 dollars and up marked down to 20 dollars!!! I'm sure they were cleared out, but it's worth a look. They were quite lavish!

We are grabbing lunch here and heading downtown. Can't wait!! This will be my dd's first ever Mag Mile Lights Festival. It's great weather and great company. Here we come, Mickey!!!!
