Question What foods, drink, etc. can you get from the Hess gas station on Disney property?

I've never been inside one there, but could you share what you can get for food and drink at this gas station?

Are you able to get a half gallon of milk? What about fresh fruit? Is it a mini convenience store? Are there any hot sandwiches?

If you need to move this question to another forum I'm sorry I put it in the wrong place.

They have soda, milk and beer like any other convenient store. They also had pizza last time I was in there.

Typical convenience store with actually pretty good selection, not bad prices too considering where they are located.

Cheap eats

I have read that you can get some cheap fast food there as well. I have seen the ads when I was filling up on gas but have never gone in.

If you're staying on property you're going to pay an arm and a leg at the gift shops. You're way better going to Hess. That's where we stock up on beer and cigs. I love the looks my friends and I get when we board the bus back to the resort.

Unlike the Hess locations located outside of Walt Disney World, the ones located by the Transportation & Ticket Center, Downtown Disney and BoardWalk do not sell any Pepsi products because of WDW's exclusive contract with Coca Cola. So that is going to be their major difference.

I ate a sandwich from a gas station once and once was enough...so I can't tell you how the sandwiches are.

But they have pop (Coke only, dontcha know - it's still Disney) and some juice, water, etc.

No gum.

If you want Pepsi or gum, go to a gas station somewhere other than WDW.

Even better option

This is a tad bit OT but a better option is the Wal Mart to the right of Crossroads. It is down a couple of miles so you would need a car, not sure if they have bus service from Crossroads but would imagine they would. Look for the RED sign as I missed it the first few times cause I was looking for blue.

Anyway, along with the usual things, they also have a huge Disney section with t shirts for at least half of what Disney charges, along with many other items.

Slightly Goofy, who has enough STUFF
