Has MVMCP been crowded?

I know there have only been a few but.... we are thinking about going to the party 12/3. However, we have been 3x before and I definately don't want to go if it is sell out crowded. First Tuesday or Thurs in Dec 2007 and it was a sell out and not worth the $$ IMHO. We went in 2005 and it was great. So far I have told the kids we aren't going and they seem okay with it.

I found it kind of crowded (or at least more crowded than I expected) on 11/12 (the second party) and it was not sold out. I would imagine that the sold out dates might be pretty crowded.

We went 11/17 on a Tuesday. It was not crowded at all. We rode Big thunder at least 5 times without getting off.

What is the general assumption for the crowd levels at the parties, certain days of the week busier than others or is it just the closer the date is to Christmas?

It was extremely crowded on 11/12 on main street. We stayed there to watch the show, then the parade (first one), and then the fireworks. We knew my 3 yr. old couldn't stay awake for the 2nd parade. My son and I walked on buzz light year and what little bit I saw of the rest of park looked pretty empty (b/c they were all sitting beside me on main street). We still had a great time but if you want to do the Christmas stuff expect crowds. I think if you are there to ride you won't think it's very crowded.

We've been going to the parties for several years now and to us, it's not really bad on the sell out dates either. Last year, we went to MNSSHP on a sold out night. We rode SM about 10 times and BTMRR 4 times without stopping. It's fun even with all the other people.

We went on Nov 19 and it was dead, no lines for characters, cocoa, CS places, parades, shows, rides...it was perfect!

Love to know this, too. I just bought tix for Friday, 12/4. I know Fridays are supposed to be more crowded, but it's the only night we could go - very short trip planned.

I'd like to see the castle show, the fireworks and the parade, but we can do the later show and parade (it's just myself and my oldest son). Otherwise, we're just going to ride, and get that Christmasy feeling!!

I hope it isn't to crowded as well on the 4th, that is our last night there and I always spend it at MK.
We are only there to catch the parade, fireworks and then ride, so hopefully we won't notice if it is crowded.

We went to this party also and it was way more crowded that night than any park had been during the day.

I also found out after we returned that all the partygoers from Tuesday night party (11/10) had been offered a free ticket to that night's party.

Not worth the money and I wouldn't do it again. I was very disappointed in the crowds and what you get for the amount of $$ you spend.

I just got back from Orlando and went to the party on Friday, November 20th and it was not busy at all. It was wroth the price of admission just to be able to walk on every ride.

I honestly thought the party on 11/12 was pretty empty. Since we go all the time, and this was our first party we hung out on main street for the castle show/fireworks/parade all at once. We were also able to catch the end of the stitch show, and belle's story time show. We also caught the second parade on our way out with a perfect view.

When walking around there was NOBODY. It was way more empty than I was expecting. Rides were either walk on, and at most 15 minutes. We rode pooh, snow white, laugh floor, jungle cruise, pirates, and splash mountain was walk on, but we didn't want to get wet. Oh and the free cookies/cocoa never waited more than 5 minutes. At the end of the night you could just walk in and grab it.

We went to the very 1st party on the 10th (Which was technically cancelled due to rain, 1st parade cancelled) and returned for free to the 2nd party on the 12th and both nights were a bit crowded for the first few hours mainly on Main Street. By the last couple of hours, we were in Adventureland, and literally had characters running us down to take pics with our kids! We were the only ones in that section. We also had front row seats for the 2nd parade at the start of the route in Frontierland. Nobody was in that part of the park!

We were able to ride Pirates of the Caribbean 8 times in a row (It's my 2 year old and 4 year old's favorite ride, but it gets old quickly after that many times! It can seem very crowded based on where you are and at what time.

Ditto for us! I noticed that the 11/20 (Friday) party still had tickets available.

bumping...we'll be at MVMCP on Friday and wondering how the crowds have been. Come to think of it, were they even having parties during Thanksgiving week???

I was out at 5:00am on Black Friday, so I guess if I can handle that, I can handle anything
