Question DHS - Fantasmic entrance ? where ?

Where do you go to get into the Fantasmic arena ?

With the Fantasmic dinner tickets it used to be near Sid's garage - your own back door to Fantasmic.

Now, if the entrance is the same for both diners and non-diners -> how is it devided for Fantasmic ticket holders and those who do not do the dinner package ?

1- See the maps.
2- Not "Sid's" Garage. It used to be near "Oscar's" Garage.
3- It's not.
But, if you do happen to walk in via the regular entrance, once you reach the theater, just show your
F!DP voucher for admission to the DP seating (if you like.)

Thanks for the maps !

Not sure if we will do the Fantasmic package. Right now we have a 5:30 PM at 50 PT (we love that place).
Then if it a nice night, after dinner we'll walk over to the Fantasmic line and line up for the show.
If it is rainy that night, we will not do Fantasmic. We have seen the show 4 times already.

We do have to see the full show of the EPCOT fireworks. We have only seen the top fireworks from the BW bridge

Thanks again for the new updated map

Oscar's in this map is marked "Strollers." (The "gas station" is actually the stroller rental.

So, if you compare that map to the earlier one (reproduced below) you'll see
Oscar's is the building to the below right of the orange type word, "Dinner."

The entrance PATH is the same as back when they used the other entrance,
but the new entrance is just a bit farther "down the hill," now.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

And, below is an outdated image of the
former Fantasmic! Dining Pkg. entrance that was near Oscar's Station.

THIS ENTRANCE IS NO LONGER IN USE.
THIS ENTRANCE IS NO LONGER IN USE.
THIS ENTRANCE IS NO LONGER IN USE.

F! Entrance

Okay - Wow..... I see! Oscar's Gas Station kind of loops into where the entrance is now...

I wonder why they changed it...

THe Teens REALLY enjoyed the special entrance...I think the fact that they felt like VIPS...made it all that more special.....

AND the seats were really Great...we could see everything.....

Hugs,
Mary

If you could see well from the Dining Pkg. seats, you can see from anywhere.

The Dining Pkg. seats are not really the better seats in the theater.

Have the seats changed from 2008? We did the Dinner package last year and I thought our seats were more central?

The location now doesn't look all that great..... Wondering how we will like it compared to last year?

The reserved DP seats have always been in the "audience right" area.

BUT, even if you have the DP voucher, you are not REQUIRED to sit in the DP section... IF there are other seats still open anywhere in the theater.

If you see open seats somewhere else that you'd rather sit, you may go sit there.

(BTW, the show is so HUGE that most seats in the theater offer a good view.)

When we made our reservations with the Magic for less, they replied

They’ve changed the Fantasmic package recently so it’s not as good a deal as it was. There’s no special entrance so you wait in line with everyone else.
By this thread it does look like there is a special entrance and I'm wondering if we should ask them to try and get the Package deal now.

She was able to reserve dinner at 4:30pm for us, but at the time she made the booking there were no package deals left.

We did the package last time and are willing to take the "bad seats", which we didn't think were so bad, for the "walk right in" entrance.

Less than two weeks to go!!!

The new DP entrance has been in operation only for a couple of months, now.

There was no "fanfare" about it returning, so I'm not surprised that there
are people even in the travel biz who don't know about it.

Two weeks ago our server at Mama Melrose's didn't even know about the separate entrance. He told us to go the main entrance but there is a sign (kind of small) that directs the package guests to the other entrance.
