$10 gift ideas for 13yr old boys

My Dh's family christmas is next week. A $10 limit/gift has been set and names exchanged by the host. I have no idea what to get for my two 13 yr old nephews for $10?? I was thinking an i-tunes gift card for one as he has an ipod. Problem though is the lowest they come in is $15. The other nephew does not have an ipod. Would they like just a plain old gift card to Target or Walmart?? Does anyone with 13 yr old boys have any ideas?

Well all kids that age like Target or Walmart GC.

You can get $10 iTunes gift cards; they come in a three pack for $30 but you can give them away to someone else as they aren't tied to each other. They have them at Target and at Toys R Us near the register.

Another idea I can think of is a DVD. They have a bunch of them on sale this week for $10 at Target.

Or go for a DVD gift basket. Next weekend some of the stores have some movies on sale for less than $5/each, you can throw in a package of popcorn, some movie candy (available at Hess for $1/pkge) and a fun item picked up at the dollar store that's related to the movie or put it in a container that's shaped like a popcorn box or similar. Or maybe a coupon for the local Ice cream store

$10 is hard, especially for that age group. A gift card is a nice idea, but I really second the Nerf stuff, or something like it anyway. $10 can buy a whole lot of fun if cousins are together and the can have a battle while the "old" folks are chatting. Makes some great memories

I could come up with a good list if the amount was $15. $10 is a challenge. I like the suggestion for snow toys. I bought a snow ball maker/launcher for $10 last year at target. My boys had a lot of fun with that thing.

Target had $10 gift cards a while back. I would also check BJ's. They do have 4 -$10 packs for $37.00 and a $5 BJ's coupon on top of that. The BJ's coupon might have expired though!

I would never do Walmart GC ever. Target is a better bet.

I also noticed you are from Wisconsin - are there any snow-tubing hills near you? There is one near West Bend (actually Kewaskum) called Sunburst. My DD LOVES going there! I know for a fact that they have gift cards!

They also had all those candys and popcorn buckets...could put it together cute!
Good Luck, $10 is Tough indeed!

How about a movie ticket? I know you can get a 4 pk at AAA. I'd give one to the 13yr old and either keep the rest or give out as gifts.

I agree, the Nerf guns are popular in my house. DSS1 is 13 and he would appreciate a Best Buy gift card, a sports t-shirt for his favorite college team, or a gift certificate for a favorite treat like Coldstone Creamery.

I have a 13 yo boy. He would love an iTunes GC, or a GC from Game Stop. Or a GC from a sports store - Dicks, Play it Again, Sports Authority. Target too. Do they like to read?? My nephew loves Barnes & Noble GCs. How about a new boardgame?? My DS no longer really plays with toys - but loves boardgames.

Where do you buy the movie tickets on AAA? Great idea! I'm decorating a small Christmas tree from my two nephews (15 and 12) and I'd love to hang a movie ticket for each on the tree along with a gift card to Mickey D's or Subway and some candy canes. Thanks!

You can order directly from itunes for a $10 card. You print it on the computer instead of a hard card. Works just the same. I prefer to get them this way because I get a $ back for shopping thru upromise.

I roll them like a scroll and use a ribbon.
