Fantasmic for lunch is now available

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that it looks like they have opened up Fantasmic packages for lunch.
I just called to see if I could switch my 1/14/10 Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic dinner package to a Mama Melrose F! package. The cast member looked and said that she didn't have any dinner times available but she did have a lunch at 3:05. I made sure to ask that it was a Fantasmic package and the cast member assured me that it was.

Happy Dining!

I don't know. I am on the dining plan so I didn't pay attention to the package prices.

I really don't think there are lunch and dinner packages for F! But all the F! dining times are relatively early - in that 3-5 or 5:30 range. I've never heard of a F! package past around 5:30. Just because it's at 3 pm, I don't think that makes it a F! lunch package.

However, now that you order from the menu at Brown Derby and Mama Melrose's for the package, I suppose your choices would differ if you were eating at one of the earliest F! dining times vs. the latest (but don't know that for sure, just making that assumption that when the restaurant as a whole changes from lunch to dinner - the choices on the package would change as well).

According to more than one poster, there ARE now Fantasmic packages available for lunch, at least at Mama Melrose. Probably at the other restaurants too, as they all serve lunch. Hollywood & Vine is a character lunch, interesting to see how that plays out. There isn't any indication that you get a discount from the package price for booking lunch. Maybe someone who books a lunch package can elaborate on that.

yes they have opened 'lunch times' for Mama Melrose (I don't know about the others). I have been calling for weeks to try and get a F! package for MM I was always told that they didn't have any F! dinner times available. A CM explained that they only had a 30 minute window where they seat all the F! packages. When i called last week I asked a again for a MM F! package and she looked and specifically said we have a LUNCH F! package available. I asked had they opened up more times and she said yes it looks like it because she had never seen an F! time that early. I also specifically asked to make sure it wasn a F! time and she confirmed that it was.

I called and asked about Easter week - the WDW dining CM said no lunch Fantasmic.... only when there are 2 shows for the night of the meal.....Easter week has only 1 show at 8:30 PM scheduled, so only dinner packages offered.

Could the CM I talked to be wrong about Easter week not having the Fantasmic lunch package with only one show at night ?

Sould I call back and ask again ?

Is that during a week of more than 2 shows a week. They may not offer a lunch if they are showing it every night of the week.
