Christmas present

Our trip to DLPR in May will be a Christmas present for my stepchildren. I want to make a DVD presentation of it. Anyone got any ideas. Got lots of photos of characters etc.

Maybe you could add footage of how your going to get there. Start with your house, then your towns sign, then continue with icons that lead you to Paris, with the finish Disneyland. You could include footage of the hotel your staying at.
Sounds like a great gift for them. You could also start with the month of May.

I'm pretty sure that you can find some good stuff on you-tube... Great present!

For my daughters 13th we organised a surprise trip. I got 2 huge helium figures of mickey and minnie (they were about 4ft tall) from Matalan's party section. They were only £12 each (our local party shop wanted twice that for exactly the same balloons) I made an invitation for her with picture of the girls on previous trips with mickey and as we were leaving that day had everything ready in the living room.

Perhaps you could go into disney shop and make up a holiday survival kit (minnie ears, pen, pad, things for the journey, t shirt, plasters for the blisters)The disney store have lovely big gift boxes you could use.

I don't know how old your children are but mine are 9,8 and 5 and we are taking them to DLP in the New Year as part of their Xmas present. We're going to do them a treasure hunt in Xmas Day to find out they are going.

There will be a number of clues to lead them to different parts of the house where things will be hidden. The things will be as follows:

1. calendar page with the date we go marked on and also the number of sleeps
2. pic of a train
3. map of france
4. eiffel tower pic
5. scarves, hats and gloves (well, it'll be cold!)
6. lanyard and pin I've bought each of them from the Disney store.
7. autograph books and pens I bought from Ebay
8 and final one, a letter for each of them from Mickey or Minnie saying he/she is looking forward to seeing them soon.

I'm SO excited at the thoughts of their faces.
