Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare for Breakfast??
We have ADRs for 1900 Park Fare but I am debating switching them to CP instead after reading some very yummy comments!! Any opinion?
My kids won't care either way about the characters... I am strictly looking food-wise.

We did CP for the first time and loved it. Best scrambled eggs I had in a long time plus they had grits too. Not to mention CP is a couple of bucks cheaper too. One of the things we really loved was that eating at CP put us in the MK for the rope drop when we were done eating. We were able to knock out several big attractions right away with little to no lines.

Crystal Palace, definitely. They seemed to have a bigger selection and I thought the food was much better.

I'd go to CP for the breakfast lasagna. Just give me a fork.

The kids selection is just about the same, but for my husband and I we prefer the CP. It seemed to us that the characters spent more time with the tables at CP as well.

Okay. my suggestion it CP. i have eaten at both CP and 1900 for Breakfast and CP for lunch and dinner as well. I honestly was not all that impressed with 1900. Buffet seemed smaller with less options. My family does not eat pork sausage but at CP they not only have pork sausage but also chicken too which we found delicious.

Truly
Both are good!
I loved them both, I loved going to the GF and I loved eating breakfast in MK before it opened. You can't go wrong in either.

Defiently CP. Much better food and larger selection. Although the characters at 1900 are better.

When our children were small, we loved CP. When they hit preteen years, we had CP and 1900PF breakfast in the same trip. The hands down winner was 1900PF.
At 1900 PF the omelet station and lobster/eggs benedict were amazing. There were CMs keeping an eye on the buffet, and children were not putting their hands in the food (like we saw at CP ).

I've eaten both and if you are strictly talking food I would lean toward 1900 PF. I do not like breakfast food, but I loved several of their options. The Mad Hatter is a hoot too. CP wasn't bad, but it was a pretty typical breakfast buffet, just larger.

Do Both - Park Fare for Breakfast, Crystal Palace for Lunch or Dinner
I really liked 1900 Park Fare's breakfast. Very good food, better choices than most buffet breakfasts. There was a lobster eggs benedict that was absolutely delicious. And where else can you get strawberry soup? The strawberry soup was sweet and delicious -- it is Mary Poppins' favorite.
You said the characters didn't matter but I'll tell you the Mad Hatter was very funny. Alice in Wonderland will be there too -- and both are good prep for the new Alice in Wonderland movie coming out (in March?) with Johnny Depp. Mary Popping, Tigger and Pooh were there too. Never been to Crystal Palace for breakfast but it is a very convenient location for lunch and dinner in Magic Kingdom -- the buffet is very good, lots of choices, and the carved meats were delicious. The cold salads are also very good. Can't beat the salmon. Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet. |
