Red face November 27- Day after Thanksgiving- to Tues Dec 1

So we were going to WDW from 11-28 to 12-1, but we decided to add on 11-27. I have begun looking around at the crowd predictors and calendars and whatnot.... Everything I see says the crowd will be an 8 out of 10 for Friday 11-27 and Sat 11-28 then it will slow down to about a 4.

My question is - will it be THAT crowded? This is our first year for Christmas and I really have no idea how crowded it will be. The only frame of refernce i have is what I have read and the predictors/calendars. So if anyone has gone before for the same roundabout dates, could you let me know how it was? Long LONG wait times? Crowds? Thanks so much!!!

It's crowded but not Christmas Day/ 4th of July crowded
Popular ride times may be 45 mins and up. Thanksgiving is busy from the eve until the Sunday evening then the crowds thin out

I went last year from the day after Thanksgiving for a week, and I didn't think it was that bad. Yeah, that first weekend was a little more crowded than the week that followed, but I still didn't think it was bad. One thing to consider is that we didn't hit MK until the following Monday, so that might have helped us.

It will be busy Saturday/Sunday at MK, DHS, and DTD. I arrive the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

It dies out Sunday afternoon.....and by Monday, it is great.

We arrived Thanksgiving day last year and found that to be the only day that the crowds were bad. AK was not bad until aobut lunch, but we ended up leaving aobut 3 b/c we were tired and it was getting to the point that it was wall to wall people. We never experienced that again the whole trip, and the longest wait we had was 25 min for haunted mansion.

We are flying down early on 11/27 and staying through 12/7. We plan on going to MK on Friday evening, skipping the parks altogether on Sat, MK on Sunday, AK on Mon (followed by MK EMH that night) etc. Normally I follow the recommended parks but with the crowd numbers being so much lower at this time per year, we are following our own schedule this time. Like a PP said, Sunday will be ALOT less crowded than Friday and Monday even less crowded than Sunday.

It is so beautiful this time of year! NOTHING beats WDW at Christmastime! Enjoy!

We were there last year the day before Thanksgiving to the Saturday after and the Saturday after the park was not that busy at all. The weather should be FANTASTIC again this year so even if you do have a wait it won't feel that bad because of the cooler weather.

How is the weather?? Is it chilly in the am and at night?? Should we bring a jacket for the kids? (50s are chilly for us!)

This was exactly our experience last year.

But the MVMCP that Tuesday was packed.

We went to the same party last year and the only bad thing was rain
Crowds were light to the point we rode Splash Mtn 3 times in a row!
Going to the same party this year and hoping for the same minus the rain
