Fantasmic Package

Needing some advice on the Fantasmic Package. I grabbed a dinner slot for 4:10pm at Hollywood & Vine. BUT, it is on a night I have reservations for the 50's Prime Cafe. ( I was soooo looking forward to going there too!) What I am trying to figure out now is, is the Fantasmic Package worth it? I tried searching for other times and dates for both, and was unsuccessful. So, now I am faced with having to make a decision. I am just torn on which way to go.

Granted, I have seen the Fantasmic show at Disneyland MILLIONS of times, but never at WDW. Any help would be MUCH appreciated from this first timer!

Well, I would prefer 50's Prime Time and then just go get in line 30-45 min before Fantasmic. It's a huge stadium so you shouldn't hava a problem getting a seat.

I don't feel that the food at H & V is that great. (although I've never done 50's Prime). The seats that are reserved for H & V are off to the far left (from the back) of the Fantasmic. I wasn't impressed with the seats they had for us when we did the package last year.
IMHO, just go to Fantasmic a little early, and skip the H & V reservation.
Good luck with whatever you chose and enjoy the show!

H&v f!

I am one of those weird people that actually recommend the Hollywood & Vine and Fantasmic package...

It worked out GREAT for our family. mail me if you have any specific questions

I suppose it depends on when you go. Our last visit was JULY....and we just pranced on in to Fantasmic with our passes....the line of people waiting was incredible....and on the way out as well....

Plus the kids felt like VIPS with the special entrance (the entrance area has changed since then...but I'm sure walking right in is special no matter where you enter)

Hugs,
Mary

I think it depends on how busy it will be at WDW and if you have children.

It can be a long wait during busy times. I have heard that more nights have Fantasmic now than when I was there.

Hollywood and Vine is not one of my favorite buffets/restaurants. 50's Prime Time is much better.

You will have to decide if you need the Fantasmic DP or not.

If you get in line for the show at least 45 minutes before the start you should be able to get a better seat hen the ones offers by HV. I don't care for the food and it just does not seem worth it to me. Wich ever you choes I hope that you have fun.
