MVMCP Dec 15...crowded?

Trying to decide whether we should go or not. Wondering if it will be jam packed since it is not a DVC/AP discount night. What are your thoughts?

Hmm, I hope not! This is the night that we will be there. I was thinking it wouldn't be too bad since a lot of kids will still be in school and there are still two more parties after it on the weekend.

We were there on the last two nights of the party last year (Tues the 16th and Thurs the 18th). Tuesday night was very busy and I was informed later it was a sell out. The Thursday night crowd was much lighter, probably because starting the next day the parade and fireworks would be see during the regular park day for free....

I tell you this not to make you worry, but just to prepare you. Have a good touring plan, go to the second parade, and soak up the atmosphere!

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.

But the December 15th party isn't one of the last two nights of the party---the last parties are on December 17 and 18 (Thursday and Friday).

To the OP, I wouldn't worry about it at all. Be set with a touring plan and your "must do" party events and enjoy yourself. Worst case you have to stick to your plan because it's crowded. Best case you can ditch the plans and do whatever you want!

I was there on Tues the 16th last year as well and even with the sell-out, it was just a great time! After trying to convince my DH to put out the extra money after our MNSSHP rain monsoon, I am so happy that he felt it was the hightlight of our trip! I am going on the 15th also and am hoping that it will not be a sell out! I think without the Night before Christmas, there will be a lot more people doing rides and dance parties etc. I haven't really heard of any fond reviews on the new stitch show but that snow on Main Street with the Christmas music playing with the crytal like palace in the background is the whole reason we are going back to Disney at Christmas time again this year! You will have a great time!
