So I'm back from my audition... - The DIS Discussion Forums

Howdy!

As some of you know I just went to Disneyland Paris to audition for one of the standby Annie Oakley's on the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show (i.e if one of the regular Annies cannot do a show for whatever reason they have other actresses they can call upon..)

Do you know when you will be starting as standby?

We went to the show in June this year and loved it. My 2yr old daughter was ill the day before and the day we went. The show was the only time I saw her smiling and shouting, generally having a blast

Hoping to go again during our stay in Jan.

Hi!

Well as of now I'm standby, at some point I have to go out there and learn the show not sure when as don't know how many girls they have on their books as stand ins!! but I coul;d get a call to do it next month or maybe not until 2011 or maybe never it depends on health, people leaving, holidaying, availability etc. So fingers crossed I get to go and do it even if it's only once in my lifetime

audition was pretty gruelling we were there all day riding first, then scting, then more acting, then interview then...they called me tonight and my horse decided to be an absolute little devil - luckily this went in my favour because she's notoriously difficult and i still managed to make her do as she was told - we were both sweating buckets by the end ofthe riding audition but at least she was listening to me haha

yeah i did a lot of screaming earlier and i had to hold back the tears quite a lot on the day because i swear i thought i was dreaming and someone was going to wake me up it was all a dream come true. I'm feeling reall calm at the mo don't think it's sunk in yet.

Wow, absolutely fantastic, well done, and thanks for the backstage pics! We saw the show and really enjoyed it, especially the Annie Oakley act - bet you cant wait to get started
