DDP for table service---no sides or salads included???

the DDP lists adult TS meal as entree and a dessert---on many of the posted menus for the "better" restaurants they frequently list soup/salads/sides---are these not included on DDP ???

Any sides that are included with the entree are included in the entree part of the TS credit on the basic DDP. Salads and soups are not included, unless they are considered a side dish that comes with the entree (example: the stacked sandwich at 50s Prime Time lunch comes with a house salad as a side choice). However, the 3-course price-fixed items at places like Chefs de France, Le Cellier and Captain's Grille are included as 1 TS (they come with app, entree and dessert on a very limited menu). But, you can't substitute anything on these special menus. You must order them as is, so whatever side it comes with you must get, and whatever desserts they offer you must choose one of those, not something else.

On the deluxe dining plan, you get a choice of one appetizer included in your TS meal. So, you could get a salad or a soup as the appetizer, or one of the other appetizer choices.

Note also, that most (if not all) TS locations place bread on the table.

If by "better", you mean the signature restaurants, then no, they would not be included in the regular dining plan. Most of the signatures will serve a small entree and small dessert for the 2TS you give up on the regular DDP. If you are on Deluxe DDP you would get an appetizer also which could either be a soup/salad or an actual appetizer.

Soups and salads are generally considered appetizers and are included only in the deluxe dining plan, not the basic dining plan. This is true of the 2 credit (signature) restaurants also.

As for sides, any side that accompanies an entree (for one price) is included, but if you want to order extra sides (the ones listed separately) they are not included (this goes for both the basic and deluxe plans).

One thing we found really nice at the signature restaurants is they usually have a "cheese sampler" which is considered a desert. We would order 1 cheese sampler before our meal, then order our entrees, then order 1 desert.
