Sunshine Seasons??

Okay... I've spent FAR too much time looking at menus recently!! There's a puddle of drool on my computer now!!

Many of the places it was easy for me to pick out what I would want but there's SOOOO many options at Sunshine Seasons... what do people recommend? Or recommend to stay away from???

We've had the asian food, which is as good as Panda Express type restaurants. Food was fresh and tasted good. My husband had the chicken and liked it. We've also had good sandwiches at Sunshine Seasons. Now the best part is they have good desserts for a counter service restaurant. We've had many different desserts and all were good. Also on our last trip, we were able to get Powerade as a drink with the dining plan, not just a fountain soft drink.

This past trip DH and I got the same thing: Turkey and Monterey Jack Cheese on Foccacia, it comes with a side so we both got the potato salad and it was very good. I think the other side choice was chips or fries, not sure about that, after the CM brought out the new batch of potato salad I was sold on that instead. Dessert for both of us was strawberry shortcake, delicious and fresh! And as the PP mentioned, you're not limited to fountain drinks with the dining plan, we got Vitamin Water.

We always end up getting the rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and the rice pilaf. For desert, we usually get the chocolate cake. It's pretty good, but on occasion it has been dry. The chicken has always been good, and way more than I can usually eat on my own.

Roasted Beets and Goat Cheese Salad - with Honey Sherry dressing.
This was AMAZING. It had yellow and red beets that were roasted and super sweet. There was a ton of very fresh mixed baby greens. It had pieces of creamy goat cheese and tons of crunchy candied nuts. This was one of the best things I have ever eaten in all my trips to the World.

The roasted beet and goat cheese salad as well as the seared tuna salad were excellent.
The sandwiches are also very good quality and very large.
I was very impressed with the desserts, as good as many of the TS locations.

When I was there in October the chicken at the Asian station was beyond awful.
Very fatty and a lot of cartilage.
I was very disappointed after all the good things I had heard here.
So look at it closely before you order it.

My favorite is the seared tuna salad! So yummy! My mom gets the roasted beet salad which is delicious too. I always split a California roll with my DD too! This is my only true must-do every trip!

I love the rotisserie pork chop. Very tasty and moist and such a nice alternative to typical fast food options. My only issue is it's a bit hard to cut up with a plastic knife. For sides I like the mashed potatoes or rice and carrots. I also love the dessert selection there.

After seeing many pictures of the strawberry shortcake, I finally had my own. It was just as wonderful as it looks.

I had the ham and salami sandwich last month and it was delicious!!!!! It was also HUGE - I immediately cut it in half because I thought there was no way I'd eat the whole thing but it was so good that I did!!! The apple flan ios also delicious for dessert!

We had the Chinese food and won't do that again. We had heard wonderful things about Sunshine Seasons and the whole family chose Chinese. It was greasy, had bones in the sweet and sour chicken and the broccoli was cold and undercooked.

We do plan on going back in 2 weeks and trying the other places but NOT the Chinese food.
