Question Help with Segway???? I think that is what it is called???

We are going to be at DL from January 5th through the 8th and I want to surprise DH with something we have never done on all of our other trips there. (we are AP holders and have been often)
We will be there celebrating our 5th anniversary

I know y ou can do the Segway tours in CA or at least I think that is what is called. I know they are the things that you stand up on and ride.

Anyhow I want to know if anyone can tell me how to go about booking this tour and how much it costs and any other details that you can share with me would be great.

Thanks again

I will be doing the same for my DBF this coming January too. Haha we will be celebrating our 4th anniversary. You can go here and it has useful info and a number that you can call! It is $99 a person but you have AP's so you get a 20% discount. DBF and I will be using our AAA card which also gives a 20% discount.

I'd like to know where to meet up at and how you can find out what time the tour leaves...

It's been several years since I've done it, but back then the tour met outside DCA at the letter "C" at 7:15 in the morning. (They told us 7:15, but in reality it was closer to 7:30 when the tour guides arrived.) They should tell you where/when when you sign up for the tour, and again when you pick up your tickets at Guest Relations the day before.

It was really a lot of fun!

We just did it in September and yes, they said 7:15, but it was definitely closer to 7:30. It was a lot of fun, just remember to wear closed-toed shoes (there was a couple on our tour that had to reschedule because they were in flip-flops). I also thought that we wouldn't be able to take ANY pictures on the tour, but they did stop and take pictures of us on our Segways at certain points. It was a LOT of fun, I surprised DH with it, and he loved it!
