Downtown Disney Sale on Dec 5th for Passholders - The DIS Discussion Forums

has anyone done this before? i don't want to go and see like the crappiest stuff or outdate stuff 50% off (which I'm sure the 2009 stuff will be on sale) ...lol you know what I mean.

Went last year...got there about 25 mins before the doors opened, but too late to qualify as one of the first 1000 to get the 'free' gift..an ornament if I remember correctly.
The very early part of the sale was okay, but within about 25 mins of the doors opening, it was a massive traffic jam in that store. Yes, there were some good deals, the door busters were 'okay'. Not going to make the effort this year. I'll be sleeping in a bit, and then heading to AK.

We went last year and the deals were good. Buying a new season pass next week. Can you PM me with the opening times?

I was wondering the same thing! Hope some more people will post their thoughts on this. Is everything in the store on sale? Or, is it just certain items. Does anyone know (because I don't remember), does this store carry any bedding items?

I believe it's 6:30-9:30, on Dec 5.

No, everything in the store was not on sale...only certaiin things. I can't remember seeing any bedding in there, but I could be wrong. I know there isn't any in the housewares section. Could be some kids stuff in the children's areas.

I'll be at WDW for this and I'm passing it up. It's basically like Black Friday. Lots of people and the good stuff that you want to save on is not discounted. That's what I have heard from past years.

Its really going to be hard for me to get up so early and to go over there by 6am...although its only an hour drive..but I'd hate to just go over there for a couple of tshirts that are on sale...and I had wanted to try and sneak to see the taping of the christmas parade but not after waking up that early......

I think they are giving away a Vinylmation doll to the first 1000...i really don't know what that is but am not interested in it...and they are giving you 20% off on vinalymation stuff...
